Bahrain RFC's, Bahrain Duty Free backed, 1st Rugby XV has as extensive program over the next month which will see them play four back to back Prosperity Premiership games before the AGRFU Danway Cup Final with Abu Dhabi
The Good News for Jim Rowark's charges is that 4 of the five games will be at home with Abu Dhabi (February 26th, Dubai Exiles (March 5th) & the Dubai Dragons (March 19th) all due to visit in the next few weeks.

Bahrain MMY Rugby Festival 2010 (26/Feb/2010)
Bahrain RFC's Junior Rugby Players host their rivals from across the GCC on MArch 19th.
From Under 6 through to the seniors little rugby players will participate in a weekend festival of rugby that will see visitors from Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE visit Bahrain. With the main competitions being staged at the U8, U10 & U12 levels Bahrain have every reason to be confident of a good showing on the back of some good performances in the recent Dubai MMY festival and their trip(s) to Doha
The festival will take place throughout the day and should provide a worthy curtain raiser to the Bahrain 1st XV's last game of the season against the Dubai Dragons.....

Asian 5 Nations (23/Feb/2010)
The Arabian Gulf Vs Hong Kong is only a small part of the story. The A5N Festival of Rugby will feature a 'Rugby Legends' game with International players of yesteryear playing the local lads, Mini Rugby Training Sessions and Games and an inaugural competition between teams representing ocal schools.
Carried live throughout the region on Bahrain Television's Satellite Service, and patronised by Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa (The President of Bahrain's General Organisation for Youth and Sports) this truly international weekend will provide local rugby supporters with a weekend to remember.
