Bahrain Rugby Club maintains a number of sporting areas to allow our members and visiting teams to participate in as wide a variety of sports as possible. Each area has its own array of sporting goals, flags, safety equipment etc to allow it to host as many different activities, at as many different age groups and formats, as possible.

Other Sporting Facilities

Sports Hall

Our Sports Hall is fully air-conditioned and whilst it is primarily set up for Netball, it offers cooler training facilities for all our sports during the summer. Regular fitness classes, as well as Badminton and Junior Cricket training, see this facility in constant use.

The hall has also been set up to allow the club to host a variety of larger social events.  In the past, these have included large scale dinners, comedy shows, concerts and stage shows

Weights Room / Gym

Our weights room boasts a variety of cardio vascular and strength training equipment.  It is available all our Club members and is fully supported by our Sports Department.

Swimming Pools

Main Swimming Pool

The Swimming Pool has primarily been set up to provide a training venue for swimmers, whether it is for fitness or competition purposes.  It boasts a number of comfortable areas to sit, eat and socialize in the peaceful ambiance created by it’s surroundings.

The pool is a certified 25m training pool boasting six lanes at a depth of 1.2m in the shallow end and 2.1m in the deep end.  Fitted with heaters and a chiller, the swimming pool is temperature controlled throughout the year.

Children’s Pool

A small children’s pool has been setup in the area adjacent to the Weights Room.  It provides a safer environment for the Club’s toddlers, so that they can enjoy the water too.

It is segregated by a glass surround and is deliberately situated next to our pool bar so that Mum and Dad can monitor their children whilst enjoying refreshment at the shaded Pool Bar.

General Policies

Please note that whilst we try to keep all facilities available at all times the nature of the Sports Surfaces is that occasionally we need to use chemical fertilisers and pesticides on them. Please pay careful attention to the club noticeboards where notices will be posted at such times
